This is a 1* FREE PLAY on Vancouver. I think the Canucks are absolutely worth a "second look" as a "live dog" here at home in Game 7 vs. the Oilers. Remember, Vancouver went 4-0 vs. the Oilers in the regular season. The money is almost split down the middle here, but the home ice advantage can't be overlooked as a very real deciding factor in this case as well. Vancouver has gotten great play from Arturs Silovs between the pipes, as this has just overall been a bad matchup for Edmonton all season. I think the Canucks at home here getting "plus money" is the correct call. But what about you?! Do you think Vancouver will dig deep and deliver as well, or do the Oilers roll?! Good luck, NP |

This is a 10* NL GOW on the Marlins runline. While I do think an outright win is possible, in the end I'll recommend to grab the extra 1.5 runs for the still very reasonable price in my opinion. The Brewers are 27-19 overall, including 15-10 on the road, while Miami is 15-33 overall, including 8-18 at home. The Brewers lost two of three at Houston over the weekend, including a 9-4 setback yesterday, while the Marlins four-game win streak ended with a 7-3 loss to the Mets here last night. I give the starting pitching matchup nod to the home side though here. The visitors go with Joe Ross (2-4, 4.61 ERA) who has been consistently inconsistent, while the home side counters with Ryan Weathers (2-4, 3.81.) I say Weathers in this spot at home is the correct call. Miami playing well and that progression continues with another competitive game and series here at home. While the outright is possible, the official call is to grab the MARLINS on the runline option. Good luck, NP |
